This visa is issued to foreigners or naturalized foreign citizens who want to work in the Philippines as Artists (e.g. Singers, Actors) and Athletes (e.g. trainers, coaches) on short term basis or seasonal contracts.

Requirements

1. Letter request from the petitioner’s company
   
2. Clear copy of the passport’s data page and authorized period to stay
   
3. Bureau of Immigration (BI) Clearance Certificate
   
4. Endorsement from:
   

Asosasyon ng Musikong Pilipino (AMP) and Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) for musical artists or performers
Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) for film or stage actors or actresses
Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) for import players / coaches / trainers
Other legitimate organizations related to the occupations above

Procedures

1. Submission of the application with the requirements
   
2. Verification of travel and derogatory records, assessment of fees and issuance of Order of Payment Slip
   
3. Payment to the collecting officer and issuance of the Official Receipt
   
4. Evaluation, updating of records and preparation of the Order
   
5. Approval of the Special Work Permit for Artists and Athletes (SWPAA) by the Commissioner
   
6. Issuance of the SWPAA
   
7. Document archiving
